Texas Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program (TEMAP)

 

 

To help provide housing stability during the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, Economic Opportunities Advancement Corporation has been awarded funding to assist eligible homeowners in McLennan County that are at or below 80% of Area Median Income and have been economically impacted by this pandemic.

This program can pay up to six months of an eligible homeowner’s mortgage, including payments in arrears, with at least one of those months covering a future month.

TEMAP Required Forms:

  1. Homeowner Application (English, Espanol)
  2. Homeowner Certification
  3. Income Self-Certification
  4. Authorization to Release Mortgage Information
  5. Mortgage Servicer Form and Certification
  6. Mortgage Servicer W-9

Required Supporting Documents:

  • Copy of most recent mortgage statement
  • Copy of photo IDs for all borrowers on the mortgage
  • Proof of income
  • Proof of primary residence: utility bill in the homeowners name OR document from the County Appraisal District showing a homestead exemption
