CSBG funds the EmpowerU Case Management program is designed to provide individuals and families with the tools, resources, and personalized support they need to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Through EmpowerU, participants will receive:
- One-on-one guidance from dedicated case managers
- Tailored action plans to achieve financial and personal goals
- Access to job training, educational support, and financial literacy programs
- Connection to vital community resources and services
Financial assistance for tuition, books, uniforms, and other related supplies for short-term certification programs may be available. These programs include, but are not limited to:
- Commercial Truck Driver
- HVAC Training
- Certified Nurse Aid
- Registered Nurse
- Culinary Arts
- Pharmacy Tech
- Dental Assistant
- Cosmetology
- Welding
- Forklift Training
- Medical Billing & Coding
- Medical Assistant

CSBG Eligibility Requirements
- 2025 Application
- Applicant must be a resident of Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, or McLennan, counties.
- Household must meet Federal Poverty Income Guideline Requirements
