CSBG: EmpowerU Case Management

CSBG funds the EmpowerU Case Management program is designed to provide individuals and families with the tools, resources, and personalized support they need to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Through EmpowerU, participants will receive:

  • One-on-one guidance from dedicated case managers
  • Tailored action plans to achieve financial and personal goals
  • Access to job training, educational support, and financial literacy programs
  • Connection to vital community resources and services

Financial assistance for tuition, books, uniforms, and other related supplies for short-term certification programs may be available. These programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Commercial Truck Driver
  • HVAC Training 
  • Certified Nurse Aid
  • Registered Nurse
  • Culinary Arts
  • Pharmacy Tech
  • Dental Assistant
  • Cosmetology
  • Welding
  • Forklift Training
  • Medical Billing & Coding
  • Medical Assistant

CSBG Eligibility Requirements

  • 2025 Application
  • Applicant must be a resident of Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, or McLennan, counties. 
  • Household must meet Federal Poverty Income Guideline Requirements
